Configuring your Linnworks integration​

Avasam sets up the connection with Linnworks when you add Avasam through the app store, but you can make adjustments to the settings​

The integration between Avasam and Linnworks can be managed from within Avasam, under channel integrations.

Testing the connection with Linnworks​

If you think there is a problem stopping Avasam and Linnworks connecting, you can check it from within Avasam.

  1. Open settings.
  2. Open sales channel integrations.
  3. Click on Linnworks.
  4. Click test channel.
  5. If there is an error, contact Avasam support.

Export products to Linnworks automatically​

When you source products in Avasam, you should then export them to Linnworks to be able to list and sell them. Avasam can send all your new products to the Linnworks inventory automatically when you source them, if you enable it as below:

  1. Open settings.
  2. Open sales channel integrations.
  3. Click on Linnworks.
  4. Click on additional settings to open the section.
  5. Set export product to yes (green).
  6. Click save.

Disable stock updates​

If you want Avasam to stop updating your inventory with stock levels temporarily, then you can change that in the integration settings.

  1. Open settings.
  2. Open sales channel integrations.
  3. Click on Linnworks.
  4. Click on additional settings to open the section.
  5. Set stock update to no (grey).
  6. Click save.
tip

Remember to re-enable this later to avoid overselling.

Disable price updates​

If you want Avasam to stop updating your inventory with price information temporarily, then you can change that in the integration settings.

  1. Open settings.
  2. Open sales channel integrations.
  3. Click on Linnworks.
  4. Click on additional settings to open the section.
  5. Set price (inc VAT) update to no (grey).
  6. Click save.

We recommend keeping this enabled and setting up pricing rules to ensure you don't sell at a loss.

Set stock threshold value​

If you are worried about overselling, you can tell Avasam to treat a value as 0 that is higher, so that it will tell Linnworks products are out of stock when they drop to 3 available, for example.

  1. Open settings.
  2. Open sales channel integrations.
  3. Click on Linnworks.
  4. Click on additional settings to open the section.
  5. Set stock threshold value to a value greater than 0.
  6. Click save.

It's important to use this carefully, to balance out lost sales against potential overselling.
