Seller information

Here you can edit the contact, address and account details of a seller as well as view their financial status, deactivate them or assign notes. Seller information

Financial status of a seller

To view the financial status of a seller:

  1. Click on an active seller.
    • Here you can see how much a seller owes you, what recent invoices have been raised and their payment status.

Deactivate a seller

  • Click on ‘Deactivate Seller’.
    • Once deactivated, they lose your stock updates to their listings, their stock level is set to zero, and Avasam will stop passing their orders to you for fulfilment.

You can return to the main page at any time by clicking on the ‘Seller’ link on the top left.

Notes

You can make notes about a seller, these are internal, and are not shared with other accounts than yours.

To add a note:

  1. Type a note into the Notes box.
  2. Click ‘Add note’.
  • The ‘View notes’ button opens the notes saved for the current seller.
  • You can hide the Notes list with the ‘Hide notes’ link.

Deactivate a seller

Edit contact details

To review and update the seller’s contact details:

  1. Click ‘Edit’.
  2. Amend the seller’s contact details.
  3. Press ‘Save’ to apply any changes made.

‘Cancel’ will discard any changes made.

To review and update the seller’s address details:

  1. Click ‘Edit’.
  2. Amend the seller’s address details.
  3. Click ‘Save’ to apply any changes.

Seller account details

To review and update the seller’s account details:

  1. Click ‘Edit’.
  2. Amend the seller’s account details such as invoicing, credit account and other settings.
  3. Press ‘Save’ to apply any changes made.

Deposit payment history

To review a list of the payments the seller has made to you:

  1. Click the ‘Actions’ button.
  2. In the list, select ‘Deposit payment’.

If there are no records available, or the filter has excluded all the available records though, you will see the ‘No results found’ screen. This can be amended by clearing the filter, or by waiting for deposits to be made and returning at a later date.

To filter information about a seller’s deposits:

  1. Enter the seller’s details in the search/filter box.
  2. Click ‘Filter’.
  3. Select the preferred date and range.
  4. Click ‘Apply’.

Export deposits

You can export and download the report that you have filtered using the ‘Export’ option. Select from three file formats:

  1. CSV file.
  2. Acrobat PDF file.
  3. Excel XLS file.

Send Statements

To see statements for the selected seller.

  1. Click the ‘Actions’ button.
  2. Select ‘Send statement’ from the list.
  • Use the controls at the bottom of the page to move between pages in order to find the information you want.
  • You can filter the list of information shown:
    • Date:
      • Select a period, then clicking ‘Apply’ to hide entries which occurred in the selected period.
    • Type:
      • Records can be filtered to show all, or only one or two of:
        • Invoices.
        • Deposits.
        • Credit notes

Send Statements

Send statement

To create and print a statement for the current list/view:

  1. Click the ‘Print’ button.
  2. Review the ‘Seller statement’ PDF file.
  3. Click ‘Print’.

Export statements

You can export and download the report that you have filtered using the ‘Export’ option. Select from three file formats:

  1. CSV file.
  2. Acrobat PDF file.
  3. Excel XLS file.

Deposit payments

This will show you what money has been deposited in the chosen seller account and when. To view deposit payments:

  1. Click ‘Actions’.
  2. Select ‘Deposit payment’.
  • Use the controls at the bottom of the page to move between pages in order to find the information you want.
  • You can filter the list of information shown:
    • Date:
      • Select a period, then clicking ‘Apply’ to hide entries which occurred in the selected period.
    • Seller/Contact person/Email/Postcode
      • Enter a value for one of these to filter the deposits.

Export deposit payments

You can export and download the report that you have filtered using the ‘Export’ option. Select from three file formats:

  1. CSV file.
  2. Acrobat PDF file.
  3. Excel XLS file.

Invoice Payments

This will show you which invoices are still awaiting payment for the chosen seller account and when they were raised. To view the invoices:

  1. Click on ‘Actions’.
  2. Select ‘Deposit payment’.

  • You can filter the list of information shown:
    • Date:
      • Select a period, then clicking ‘Apply’ to hide entries which occurred in the selected period.
